Olivia’s Blog

 I finished my portfolio and I am very proud of it. I like that I was able to figure out my style throughout this class and on other creative style classes I took this semester. I took another class where I had to create a portfolio on a website so it was really nice that I was able to learn how to use different platforms to create different portfolios. 

 I am putting my work together in this class to make a presentation on indesign. I am going to create a cover page and an ending page so that my work looks put together and complete. I want to possibly be able to use this in the future and add to it so I want to create it in a style that is unique to me and what I like to create. I am going to continue to edit and fix my portfolio even after this class for it to look the way I want it to, 

 we are now working on our final portfolio for this class. I am really excited to finally put all of my work together because it was something I have been meaning to do with other things I have done in the past and by doing it for this class I will be able to have a better understanding of how I should be portraying my work for other people and maybe have possible clients later on in the future. 

 I loved looking at everyones final photo collage. it was really interesting to see how peoples digital design styles were actually influenced by their hobbies in real life. there were alot of people sharing their love for skiing throughout the year and it was really cool to see pictures they actually have taken of them skiing and enjoying it. everyone had very cool concepts for what they put together and it was nice to understand everyone a little more through their art. 

 for my final project I used picture I took in Tampa throughout the year and pictures I took over the summer. the pictures I used from the summer were of my friends from home when we were at one of our friends lake houses for the summer. they were from happy memories so I wanted to use them in my final project. I also used pictures I took in both St. Pete and clearwater because those are two of the beaches I love going to here. I also used a picture of me and one of my friends kayaking because it was a fun memory from when she came here to visit. 

 for our final project we need to use images we have taken to create our own. I am going to use pictures that remind me of summer to create a summer looking picture with some out of place concepts. I want the pictures to blend together but not necessarily make sense in where they are.
